Chudy


Lyrical, imaginative and sometimes humorous images, from ‘mindscapes’ to literal reality content. Working from studios in London, Edinburgh and Frankfurt, the creative toolkit expanded rapidly from location/studio origination to include in house model making and retouching. And, it included some of the earliest use of high rez 3D CGI for print advertising. Although Philip Chudy remains one of a handful of advertising photographers anywhere in the world, who work, hands-on with highly technical 3D CGI production, his fervent focus is on the final image. The palette, which ranges from highly narrative/illustrative to pure abstract visual content is designed to enhance the advertising message on a range of levels. From his base in San Francisco, he creates images for automotive and other discriminating clients worldwide.
