Lavazza coffee has unveiled the 17th edition of its iconic calendar, shot by renowned celebrity photographer, Annie Leibovitz. Each image explores what the company calls ‘Italianity’, and its influence on art, cinema, history and culture. The images feature some of Italy’s most well-known icons and landmarks ... and also Italian supermodel Electtra Rossellini Wiedemann, daughter of Isabella Rossellini.

When Minneapolis agency mono began thinking about a holiday card that was a bit “different,” they had no idea that this is what they would end-up with. Using the faces of the agency’s fifteen employees and exchanging features, they created newer, stranger (some might call them disturbing) visages. It’s a clickable, seemingly endless mashup and a fluid, engaging presentation—supplemented by a scrollable gallery of images and a screensaver version.
The site consists of 759,375 different faces.
Within a month of launch monoface tracked over 20 million page views. The site is currently being used as a teaching tool in a high school math class.
