Kehinde Wiley Gets "Down" at Deitch

“Upon first stepping into the huge gallery space over at Deitch in New York City for Kehinde Wiley’s triumphant new solo show Down, we were overcome with the large painted Titans that spanned the walls, demanding, in their subtle way, to be worshipped,” writes Juxtapoz contributing writer by JL Schnabel.
Down, Kehinde Wiley’s solo show at Deitch Gallery in New York City, opened this weekend, unveiling eight massive new paintings (one of which is a whopping 25 feet long!) and seals Wiley’s role as a master of figurative painting.
Take a look at more photos of Down and what else Schnabel has to say about it all.
