Marvel Custom Solutions: Heroes Welcome

Timed to coincide with Marvel’s 75th anniversary, Heroes Welcome, starring The Avengers and the young hero named Nova, tells the story of what can happen when people of different backgrounds, talents and abilities come together and champion one another. The comic book, written by Eisner Award-winner Brian Michael Bendis and illustrated by fan favorite artist Mark Brooks, was created by Marvel Custom Solutions with ad agency BBDO NY and its Diversity Council. Young people are both our future and the future talent for our industry, BBDO and Marvel have partnered with the Police Athletic League to help share this comic book with children in each of the five boroughs of NYC via interactive educational sessions. It’s also an example of how one agency is addressing the issue of diversity in our industry and using its creativity to deliver this message.
