Jim Mahfood, aka Food One, is definitely a veteran to comic art. His widely known accomplishments include drawing filmmaker Kevin Smith's Clerks comics, doing the mural work on the Sarah Silverman Program, and for the past year he has been doing all the art for the Colt 45 beer ad campaign. And what’s better than beer and comics?
With all that under his belt, it’s about time he put out a book. Luckily, his very first hardcover full-color art book, Mixtape Vol 1, will be released February 13th from Image Comics. Chock full of sketches, drawings, and album covers, Mixtape Vol 1 is sure to please any true comic fan.
