Especially when it comes to the 8.3 million tonnes of food that’s sent to landfill each year. It’s a real heartburning issue for us, as most of this food is in date and can be redistributed to organisations that work with the needy or hungry in our local community. So for starters, we’d like to invite you to join us for a Black. Tie evening dinner where you can taste for yourself what many disadvantaged people could be missing out on if all this perfectly good food ended up in the bin.
